About me

I am a PhD student at the University of Southern California, working on graph signal processing and source coding under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Ortega. My work is supported by the Fulbright Program.

Previously, I was a researcher at the University of Vigo's AtlanTTIC research center, focusing on multimedia forensics. I hold an MSc in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London, where I worked on (unlimited) sampling theory.

I completed my undergraduate studies in telecommunications engineering at the University of Vigo.

  • Nov 2025: Our coding for machines paper has been accepted to IEEE TMM! Check the project webpage here.
  • Oct 2025: I presented our joint work with YouTube on UGC compression in ICIP (Anchorage, Alaska). The paper is publicly available here.
  • Sep 2025: Our paper on fast transforms with Dolby has been accepted to PCS 2025! I'll be presenting it this December in Aachen, Germany.
  • May 2025-Aug 2025: I'll be interning with InterDigital in Palo Alto, CA, working on feature coding for machines.
  • Apr 2025: I'll be presenting our paper on fast graph-based transforms in ICASSP 2025, Hyderabad, India. The paper is available here.
